Panel on Kyoto Protocol

Panel on Kyoto Protocol

ITN news channel, 16 February 2005, 10am

Article 13's Dr Paul Toyne was interviewed as part of a panel by Alistair Stewart. Paul argued that Kyoto is a useful first step as it demonstrates political will - but it is not enough - sadly we don't have a roadmap for solving this problem. He suggested that business needs to mitigate - but also equally as important – adapt, to the implications of climate change. Consumerism also needs to be tackled - particularly changing our energy rich and high in waste lifestyles.
