A Global Pharmaceutical Company – Stakeholder event: gathering feedback and informing next steps
Client challenge
The client had completed work on a programme which evaluated access to anti-retroviral therapy and education in Africa. They needed to gather information about what worked and what did not work and, based on that, consider possible next steps. To do this, they needed to deliver an engaging workshop, catering for the diverse backgrounds and languages of attendees at a symposium in Johannesburg.
What did we do?
Article 13 was commissioned to run an intensive 90 minute session for 250 English and French speaking physicians, social workers and pharmacists from across Africa.
We designed a process that supported two-way communication and ensured complete transparency. Leading edge collaborative brainstorming technology was used, enabling all delegates to see all ideas in real-time with the added value of simultaneous English-French translation.
After the event, Article 13 developed a detailed transcript, sorted by themes, of all responses given by the workshop delegates. This document was accompanied by an executive summary and was presented to the client team, who have used it in strategy development and consideration of next steps.
How did we break the cycle?
Article 13 used groundbreaking technology to break down barriers in understanding and language and allow diverse health professionals share their thoughts and knowledge collectively in real-time. As a result, the client has a clear view on how to take these learnings forward into their access to medicines and HIV/AIDS strategies.
