 CSR Expert:

Years of experience in consulting in corporate strategy and communication within the financial services and higher education sectors with a focus on reputation, corporate social responsibility and employee engagement. Including influence at CEO and senior executive level on corporate reputation strategies and the development of stakeholder engagement plans and development of effective community business partnerships. Programmes designed to enhance reputation, engage employees and communication plans for major organisational events including mergers and regulatory changes. Experienced at working with senior executives and boards of blue chip companies, including the board strategic planning process, as well as speech writing and preparation of analyst presentations.

Nuclear energy:

With over 25 years experience working in the nuclear industry and particularly responsible for developing corporate responsibility and stakeholder engagement. Background is in environmental health and safety and experience includes developing the systems for  high risk sites and setting up the EH&S management system for an engineering design company. He has also gained a wider understanding of business issues as a management accountant and business development and through supporting projects outside of the UK including Estonia, the Ukraine, Germany and South Africa.

Renewable energy, technology and waste management:

With leading edge experience in Incineration and Energy-from-Waste plant - MSW, clinical and industrial waste as well as flue gas treatment technologies and processes. This associate has provided amongst other projects: technical appraisal of a new biomass gasification process and a technical audit of a biomass fired power plant.

Renewable energy and the built environment:

High-level environmental scientist and built environment specialist with over ten years of research, policy-related and teaching experience. Special interests include renewable energy systems; sustainable construction through alternative material use and natural resource management; conservation, biodiversity, particularly around the regeneration initiatives and sustainable communities. He has initiated several recent major research projects and inputs to the Sustainable Development Strategy to the Olympic Games.

Water (social scientist) – development issues:

A researcher and consultant working on water resources and water services issues. He is a social scientist with a combination of qualifications in law and socio-economics, and familiarity with a range of water and other natural resources management issues, based on 15 years of practice, in the UK and overseas, including eight years with a leading sustainability NGO. Recent assignments include: a study (for the European Commission) on EU policies in relation to trade in water services.

In summary, a consultant with global experience including: water resources management (including pollution control, waste water treatment and water demand management).  His expertise also includes waste management and recycling (including policy, new technology, recycling economics); renewable energy (including non-grid policy solutions, PV technology, energy conservation).

Director of a not-for-profit international association of more than 300 members organisations (local authorities, government agencies, waste management businesses, industry, consultants, NGOs and academics) worldwide. A chartered waste manager and a member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management. With a master's degree in pollution research and a first degree in biochemistry, this associate has been employed in the oil, gas, iron and nuclear industries and has worked as an environmental consultant in the Middle East.

An analytical and systematic individual with the ability to assess data, engage with key stakeholders and implement programmes.   Experience includes working for a leader in commercial due diligence, working alongside big name banks and investor on mergers and acquisitions; assessing the performance of individual target companies and likely future trends in their sectors, employing a range of investigative methods; amassing, analysing and distilling large datasets, using appropriate models and statistical techniques and often used for investigating regulatory framework within a variety of sectors; particularly changing environmental legislation. With a PhD and then Postdoctoral Research Associate in ecology and climate change.
