Action Sustainability is a not-for-profit social enterprise registered as a Community Interest Company. Their aim is to continuously extend, lead and inspire sustainable procurement, by extending the boundaries of best practice.  Action Sustainability provides consultancy, training, benchmarking, research, case studies and support.  In addition, they support and facilitate the Strategic Supply Chain Group, a leading authority on sustainable procurement.  They have also recently launched the Iceberg Group, a new membership organisation designed to enable you to benefit from year round access to the UK's leading practitioners of sustainable procurement.

Alliance for Natural Health

Alliance for Natural Health
The Alliance for Natural Health International (ANH-Intl) is an international non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting natural and sustainable approaches to healthcare.  It upholds that the integrative medicine and functional medicine models, as well as many traditional healthcare systems, are more appropriate means of dealing with today’s health challenges than the current dominant western medicine model, which is over-reliant on the use of pharmaceutical drugs.  The ANH is working collaboratively to help facilitate the development of scientific and legal frameworks appropriate to natural healthcare.

The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is an independent non-profit organisation based in the UK, USA and Hong Kong.  They work in a collaborative partnership with Amnesty International sections and leading academic institutions.  The Resource Centre’s purpose is to encourage companies to respect human rights, avoid harm to people and maximize their positive contribution.

Business Ethics Research Network 

The Canadian Business Ethics Research Network (CBERN) is a network that weaves together the currently fragmented insights emerging from business ethics, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, triple bottom line and corporate governance research.  CBERN encourages the development of regional as well as national research clusters.  It exists to facilitate and encourage research, courses and programmes, executive and professional development, research and management tools, cases and public dialogue.

Social and Environmental Accounting Research St Andrews


Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) 
CSEAR's primary object is to aid the development of social and environmental accounting, and to support and encourage others who wish to practice, teach or research in this area of work - especially less experienced and/or isolated colleagues. The Centre's main function is to also act as an international network and focus for social and environmental accounting research. Collaborative research is undertaken, supported and encouraged. An in-house journal SEAJ is produced twice a year. Annual conferences are held in the UK and Australia/New Zealand; with conferences organised in Spain, Italy and Portugal on a regular basis. CSEAR has over 400 members in more than 40 countries.

The Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility (ECCR) works to foster corporate responsibility and responsible investment in the economic life of the church and to influence the policies and practice of companies. ECCR collaborates internationally with faith-based and other members of the corporate responsibility and ethical/socially responsible investment movements. In 2003 ECCR and faith-based partners worldwide published Principles for Global Corporate Responsibility: Bench Marks for Measuring Business Performance (www.bench-marks.org).

Eldis, International Development, CSR 

Eldis 
As part of a family of knowledge services from the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex, Eldis aims to share the best in international development policy, practice and research. Its 30 subject-focused guides offer quick access to key resources in that subject area. The Eldis CSR Resource Guide contributes to a better understanding of the relation between businesses and development. Through the website, an email bulletin, and a newsfeed service, the guide provides information on the impact of business activities and policies on development issues such as poverty, human rights and the environment. Focusing on the concept of CSR in a development context, the guide also presents information on the different CSR tools with a particular emphasis on their effectiveness as an instrument for development.

London Sustainable Development Commission (LSDC)
The LSDC, established in 2002, advises the Mayor of London on making the capital an exemplary sustainable city.  The Commission is made up of individual experts from the economic, social, environmental and London governance sectors.  Commissioners give their time voluntarily, promoting sustainable development, embedding sustainability into London wide strategies, and helping make sustainability a meaningful and understandable concept for all Londoners.  The LSDC launched its 'London Leaders' programme in 2007, which brings together London's leading lights in sustainability to deliver change, and inspire others to do the same.
