Part of our commitment to advocacy is to opinion-form for corporate social responsibility – identifying the key issues and emerging trends in CSR and sustainability through our work with international business and government, our original research and strong networks.  We are also active contributors to literature and conferences.

In this section, you will find the best of this information distilled for you in the distinctive Article 13 way.  Every few months we focus on an emerging or developing trend and analyse the implications and opportunities for business and government.  We aim to be edgy, provocative and innovative, exploring unexpected paths that individuals and organisations might follow to ‘break the cycle’.

Feedback and your views...

Each quarter we ask what you think about a particular topic. Last update we asked, “What type of sustainability or CSR report best articulates the value of corporate responsibility activities?" We make no claims for the statistical validity of the results of our website polls, but they always give us things to think about and we do monitor what you tell us, so your vote does count!

More than half of our respondents felt that this was best achieved by a strategy-led report detailing an organisation’s sustainability plans and performance against those plans. Approximately a quarter of respondents prefer the comparison allowed by a GRI compliant report whilst less than 15% preferred a more issues based approach.
